Is this ride for me?

Scale: 4 out of 10
This ride is great for someone who has experience riding in forestry terrain with roots and berms. The 3 locations have nothing too steep and all rollable which is great for everyone. Whether you like going fast downhill or slow you will be able to join this ride.
If you have experience riding a bike off-road in bumpy terrain this ride is perfect.

Fitness needs to handle a full days ride with hills. The second day does have some steep hills but it will be taken slowly that you can walk these hills. Kent is known for being flat so the hills are not too long and do not require a high fitness level.

Where in Kent will the rides be?
Day 1: Covert Woods
This place is well known for Mountain Biking and has many single-track trails. They are all rollable and not too steep so you can go a speed you desire. It's full off routes, drops (most rollable) and small jumps. This will be followed on by heading to accommodation for a pint and bite to eat.

Day 2: South coast ride
Will start with a full English breakfast and head straight from the hotel to a full days ride. This ride will head West looking over the coast that sometimes you can see Calais. This will be mainly byways and bridleways with more loam, grass terrain.

The ride will stop for a late lunch at Hythe and continue on the coast through Folkestone, along-side East Cliff, Warren. This will head into Dover where we will eat right near a harbour.

Afterwards depending on time we will do a little more off-road riding heading to the White-Cliffs and back to the hotel.

Day 3 Clowes Woods, Blean
Same again a full English Breakfast followed by a drive about 20 minutes heading more North side nearer to Whitstable. This ride is a loop doing more flatter trails through Clowes Woods and Blean. Depending on time and people preference lunch stop will be near Blean, followed by a ride back to the cars.
What equipment and bike do you need?
A bike that's classed as a Mountain Bike is required with at least front suspension.

MUST HAVE A HELMET! No helmet no ride. Also would highly recommend gloves, glasses, knee pads and any other form of protection being a bonus.

Bike specific equipment is something I would recommend like inner tube, brakes pads, mech hanger (specific to your bike) etc.

Water and snacks are essential! Th is a full days ride and will require water and snacks in your back-pack for extra energy.

Kent has unpredictable weather with rain sometimes occurring. I would highly recommend carrying a rain coat in the backpack.

Suitable for E-Bikes?
Yes totally suitable for E-Bikes but make sure your battery will last at least 6 hours with plenty of hills throughout second day.
